Cilla Black


Priscilla Maria Veronica White OBE , known by her stage name Cilla Black, was an English singer, television presenter, actress, and author.

Priscilla White was born in Liverpool, England, onMay 1943 and grew up in the Scotland Road area of the city. Her parents were John Patrick White and Priscilla Blythen . She had a Welsh grandfather, Joseph Henry Blythen , who was born in Wrexham, and Irish greatgrandparents on both her fathers and mothers sides of the family. She was raised in a Roman Catholic household, and attended St. Anthonys School, situated behind St. Anthonys Church in Scotland Road, and Anfield Commercial College, where she learnt office skills.
